Description:
The MoistureFinder Compact provides non-destructive measurement of the moisture in wood and building materials. The device has four selectable material characteristics for soft woods (e.g. spruce, pine), hard woods (e.g. beech, oak), plaster and cement screed. The wet/dry indicator has twelve coloured LEDs and provides immediate information on the degree of moisture or dryness in the material under inspection. If wet material is detected, the user is warned with an additional acoustic signal. The hold function allows the last measured value to be retained by pressing a button on the display. The device automatically switches itself off after 2 minutes of inactivity.
